Since 2016, The Orange Peacock Gallery has been Jackson's downtown destination for practical, quirky, whimsical and show stopping art pieces. We are located in the magnificent County Tower Building which was built in 1929 and designed by Albert Kahn. Visitors can find inspiring pieces within our gallery to decorate their lives.

Jackson is a big-small town experiencing a revitalization! Within the next two years the downtown area should see approximately 200 new living units and 30-40 living units that will be included in redevelopment of existing buildings. The former Masonic Temple is being brought back into the spotlight as an arts center. A former furniture store is planning a transformation into a culinary incubator and community business center. Our local utility company is headquartered here and is planning the creation of an energy district.

On the map, Jackson is in a great spot. We're 45 minutes from Ann Arbor, Lansing, Battle Creek and the Ohio border. Since we're along the I-94 corridor, we're easy to get to from Chicago or Detroit. While our city continues to grow and thrive, we hope that you will join us!
